EU- Asia Financial Services Round Table
At its Annual General Meeting, the EU-Asia Financial Services Round Table will host Tatyana Panova, Head of Unit, Capital Markets Union, DG FISMA, who will present the upcoming Commission Action Plan on the CMU and discuss with member of the Round Table the global dimension of CMU, especially for the Asian market.
By way of background, the EU-Asia Financial Services Round Table promotes a common understanding of the regulatory issues facing financial markets participants in Europe and Asia, whilst serving as a helpful platform for European and Asian policy makers and stakeholders to engage in a dialogue. The Round Table also supports the development of regulatory best practices and a level playing field in financial services regulation in Europe and Asia.
Members of the EU-Asia Financial Services Round Table include Afore Consulting, AIG, DTCC, HSBC, London Stock Exchange, IHS Markit, Moody’s, CME Group, Refinitiv, TradeWeb and Standard Chartered.

Tatyana PanovaHead of Unit, Capital Markets Union, DG FISMATatyana Panova is the Head of the Capital Markets Union Unit in DG FISMA. Prior to this, Tatyana Panova headed another unit in DG FISMA and served in the private office of Vice-President Valdis Dombrovskis where she was responsible for Capital Markets Union, securities markets, asset management, insurance, free movement of capital and competition. Before joining the Cabinet, Tatyana Panova was a Deputy Head of the Securities Unit in DG FISMA. In her previous jobs, Tatyana Panova coordinated the preparation of ECOFIN, COREPER II and Economic and Financial Committee in DG MARKT and managed aviation anti-trust cases in DG COMP. Prior to joining the Commission in February 2005, Tatyana Panova worked in corporate advisory services of Ernst&Young, as well as held internships with both the European Central Bank and European Commission. Tatyana Panova is a trained economist with specialisation in financial services.
